Artificial Aesthetics is an exploration of the intersection between traditional oil painting and contemporary digital technologies. This series of five oil paintings channels the essence of photography, artificial intelligence, and digital image manipulation, all while acknowledging the inherent artificiality of such tools. In today's digital age, where platforms are saturated with AI and image-enhancing filters, the boundary between reality and digital illusion has become more and more blurred. These perfected digital representations often distort our self-perception, perpetuating unrealistic standards of beauty. Artificial Aesthetics boldly confronts this phenomenon, urging viewers to question the authenticity of what they observe and how it influences their self-perception. As viewers react to each piece they are prompted to introspect and reassess their relationship with digital imagery. Artificial Aesthetics aims to spark conversation around beauty, authenticity, and the impact of digital culture on our collective consciousness.

Artificial Aesthetics is not only a series of paintings, but a digital experience as well. Since beginning this project, I have documented my entire process online in the form of short-form video content on TikTok gaining an audience of over 17,000 followers and 600,000 views.
Recognizing the demand for my audience to purchase my works I created a Shopify store where I have sold countless prints worldwide.
